Difficulty Levels
At Skappel, we believe anyone can knit — whether you're just starting or looking for your next big challenge. Here we explain the difficulty levels.
🍀 Level 1 - Beginner: These knitting projects are perfect for beginners. They are designed for people with little or no knitting experience. We use the most basic knitting techniques here, and you can find tutorial videos for these techniques on our website. Ideal as your very first project, or if you just want to knit something simple and effortless that can be finished quickly.
🍀 Level 2 - Intermediate: Knitting projects for those who know some basic techniques. These projects often feature classic constructions, simple patterns, or techniques that are easily manageable for less experienced knitters. The projects use only a few colors or techniques.
🍀 Level 3 - Advanced: Knitting projects for those with a bit more experience. You should be able to read patterns and be familiar with techniques like cables or stranded colorwork (Fair Isle). Even if you're new to knitting, you can still make a Level 3 sweater if you're willing to learn some new techniques along the way.
🍀 Level 4 - Expert: For knitters with experience in more advanced patterns and techniques. These projects usually include multiple colors, different stitch patterns, and/or techniques. They require a bit more patience, but are absolutely doable if you're looking for a more challenging knitting experience.
A good tip is to check out our tutorial videos or look for instructional content on YouTube to learn new techniques.
Remember, you can always knit a sweater regardless of the difficulty level. All you need is the willingness to learn and a bit of patience 💓
