Villrose means wild rose and is a chunky cable-knit sweater with side slits. It's worked with one strand of Myk and one strand of Suri, and has an oversized fit. It’s perfect to wear over your dress on a late summer night — but can also be your best friend on a cold winter's day!

Construction

The sweater is worked bottom-up with a cable pattern. The front and back pieces are knitted flat until they are joined at the split, then continued in the round. The sweater features dropped shoulders, where stitches are either picked up for the sleeves or the sleeves are knitted separately and sewn onto the body.
