Construction

The jacket is made up of 16 crocheted squares that are joined together. Groups of double crochet stitches are then added, followed by ribbing at the bottom of the front and back panels. On the upper part, double seed stitch is worked back and forth before the shoulder sections of the front panels are crocheted together with the back panel. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves, which are worked in double seed stitch; the lower part of the sleeves features double crochet groups and ribbing. The sides of the jacket are crocheted together, a double neckline is knitted, and bands for the zipper are knitted. The zipper is sewn in at the end.
