Construction

The long socks are knit top-down, while working in pattern with decreases as shown on chart. A striped pattern is worked on the heel and sole of the sock, while the charted pattern from the leg is continued over the instep. The toe is shaped with decreases and the tip of the sock is grafted close using Kitchener stitch.
