Description

The name Favn stem from the Norwegian word for embrace, omfavne. The inspiration for Favn came from the feeling I get when wearing my dad’s and grandfather’s large sweaters. I fell in love with the way those sweaters made me feel safe and warm, and I drew that feeling into a more fashionable design, carrying both a masculine and feminine touch.

The sweater is knitted in Myk Norwegian Lambswool in 3001 Natural White and 3003 Gray.

What is in the knit kit?

The knit kit includes yarn, a Skappel label and a digital pattern. The digital pattern can be found under your account or in the order confirmation.

Construction

Favn is worked bottom up in the round. Once the body is complete, it is divided into front and back, and the front and back pieces are worked separately. The pieces is then collected by the shoulders, and stitches are picked up around the armholes to work the sleeves top-down. Stitches are picked up along the V-neck to shape the neckline and collar.
