Description

Fabel is an oversized, playful, and airy sweater knitted in Suri Norwegian Lambswool. The idea behind Fabel came from the child within me, inspired by the playfulness and creativity we have when we’re young. To reflect a playful vibe, Fabel combines cables and colorwork.

The sweater is knitted in Suri Norwegian Lambswool in 1032 Pastel Green & 1036 Mediterranean Blue.

Construction

Fabel is constructed bottom up. The unique sleeves are created by casting on a cable pattern, which is knitted back and forth. After binding off, the short edges are sewn together into a tube. From one side of the tube, stitches are picked up to form the sleeve, which is knitted in the round with the colorwork pattern. Once both sleeves are finished, they are attached to the body, and the rest of the sweater is worked with raglan decreases.
