Description

Frigg is a playful and airy knitted jacket which combines cables and colorwork. The name Frigg stems from a Norse female goddess, and the meaning of the name is ”to love.” When I was designing a garment worthy of this name, I wanted to create a cozy, embracing jacket with a romantic expression, but at the same time with strong lines.

The sweater is knitted in Suri Norwegian Lambswool in 1035 Arctic Blue and 1037 Ice Blue.

Construction

Frigg is constructed piece-by-piece by first knitting the sleeves in the round on circular needles. The back piece and front pieces are knitted separately back and forth. The pieces are then assembled, and stitches are picked up for the neckline.
