Yndling is a light and airy sweater that combines textured knitting with mock cables, and patterned knitting with stripes in two colors. The sweater is worked from the bottom up.

The sleeves are constructed by first casting on for a panel of cables, which is worked back and forth. Once completed, it is seamed along the short edges to form a tube. Stitches are then picked up along one side of the tube for the sleeve, which is worked in the round using the same textured pattern as the body.

The sleeves are attached to the body to form the yoke. Raglan decreases are worked up the yoke. The texture with mock cables and stripes flows inward along the raglan decreases, creating a smooth and balanced transition in the shaping of the garment.

The neckline is designed with a slight elevation, making the sweater extra warm and comfortable.
